I love shooting newborn babies. Wait, that didn't sound right. I love photographing newborn babies. That's better. I love the challenge of a newborn. Babies have a personality of their own from birth if you know how to look. The challenge is capturing that personality even though the little one can't do much to help ya out yet. It is fantastic when you get it right!
The image below is so special for a number of reasons. First off, this little one is a"honeymoon baby", born the same year as the wedding. She is the baby who just couldn't wait to bless us with her presence.
The wrap she is laying in is one of the wraps that the bridesmaids wore in her mom's wedding.
Back to this baby girl - do you see how she is looking striaght into the camera? She is 10 days old and she is already following voices. She turned her head to look at me. She is brilliant. I love shooting newborns.
