More Halloween goodness

Getting the costumes together for upcoming parties. This is the first year I actually sat at the sewing machine and made a costume. He had to to jedi Luke, not white shirt, tan pants, I can get it on eBay for $15 Luke.

The Girl aka Leia:

It is so hard to feel sorry for her when she has those cinnamon buns on her head!

She loves it, really she does.

The Boy aka Luke Skywalker as a Jedi:

I made two Jedi robes for my boy last night. One was a mock up and it went so quickly that I went ahead and made the real one. I made the inner vest by altering an old dress shirt of mine. I took the sleeves and the collar off and folded down the neckline into a v shape. Here is his costume so far:



He still needs (this is more for me than you) : a belt, a long sleeve black shirt, black shoes, darts put into the waist of the pants, the vest sewn closed.
