Today my daughter was a piratre.

The boy had a play date, so I was down one kid for a good part of the day. Worked for a few hours on the wedding I have due, and worried about a friend. A lot. My girl went on the potty for the kinda the first time, so there was much rejoicing. She has gone once before, but it was really random. This was intentional.

Today the girl also decided she was a pirate. "I pirate, Mom!" That was most of what she said today while brandishing a sword. That's my girl.

Here she is, talking on her sword phone. She has to have a phone the second I take a call, so whatever she has in her hands becomes her phone.
